The Crew

The term “astronaut” was born from the Greek words meaning “star sailor,” and refers to all who have been launched as crew members aboard NAISA spacecraft bound for orbit and beyond. The term “astronaut” has been maintained as the title for those selected to join the NAISA corps of astronauts who make “star sailing” their career profession.

Brad Craig

Brad Craig was the head biologist aboard the AVIUS1. He invented a new agricultural system that utilized aquatic plants and alkaline soil. This system allowed for double the amount of crops to be grown in one season, and brought fresh fruits and vegetables to the crew. They ate these, along with freeze-dried goods. Craig was a close friend to Marz, as they were both in the same graduating class of NAISA's training academy.
